View from the the Bridge (A477) , over two Bunds built in the 1980's to hold
dredged material from Neyland Marina .
This resulted in the formation of a permanent fresh waterbody.
The South Wales Railway (GWR), built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel ,
used to run along the west side of the Pill ,
from Neyland to the existing Railway Line at Johnston (1856-1964 ).
The waterway used to be navigable to Rosemarket.
