Turbidite Rocks - 2 / Flute Casts

North of Bowman's Point ( between Tenby North Beach and Waterwynch Bay)
is a small Cove with an exposed Turbidite Rock face.
Pic 1 (top) - Turbidite is a type of Sedimentary Rock composed of layered particles that
grade upward from coarser to finer sizes and are thought to have originated from ancient
turbidity currents (a water current carrying large quantities of sediment in suspension).
Pic 2 - On a Rock at beach level are "Flute Casts" ? ( currents of water created
impressions on soft sediment, casts of these patterns formed in the next layer ).
